I am a Postdoctoral Scholar in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Northwestern University, working with Prof. Krishna Shrinivas. My current research brings together polymer physics and machine learning to design intrinsically disordered proteins with targeted functions.
Trained in theoretical chemistry, I build mechanistic models that connect microscopic interactions to large-scale material behavior. Across stochastic systems, polymers under flow and protein condensates, one question anchors my work: how can physical insight help us design matter with intent?

Research
My research program moves between exact theory, molecular simulations and modern machine learning—choosing the right tool for the physical question.
I combine differentiable physics, molecular simulation and machine learning to design intrinsically disordered proteins with prescribed ensemble and condensate properties—including stimulus response, threshold sensing and multicomponent organization.
I study how flow reshapes polymer conformations, fluctuations and transport across concentration regimes. This work connects single-chain dynamics to collective rheology and explains enhanced tracer motion in flowing polymer solutions.
Using analytically tractable models, I investigate diffusion in dynamically disordered environments, first-passage processes and entropy production—building a mechanistic language for fluctuations in soft and biological matter.
